I personally don’t have any experience with latch hook, though perhaps some of my followers do! It’s funny you should mention comic books; I was just thinking of doing a queue along those lines. :3 What sorts of patterns were you looking for?

Oh, hey, I think I forgot to post this! I’ve decided to reopen my shop when I have five-ish (or ten, if I’m feeling extra ambitious) finished pieces ready to sell. :3
I love me some Winnebago Man. Jack Rebney 4 lyfe motherfuckers lol

There’s myphotostitch, which is a good free website (though it can be tricky to get the pattern exactly the way you want it). Stitchboard is also a free website, although I haven’t tried it out yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Second in my set of embroidered magnets featuring characters my favorite comic writers convinced me to love, here is Carol Danvers. kellysue's Captain Marvel series is gorgeous and fascinating, and Carol as a character is an inspiration. I love her drive and relentlessness, her courage and determination, and her need to explore. All of these are things I need to learn from!

My husband suggested putting her on a sky-patterned background, and I was delighted by how perfect that suggestion was even though he hasn’t read the comic (yet). :)
